Reversible, 3D-Supramolecular Self-Assembly |

We synthesized novel azo-conjugated 9,9’-di-tetraethyleneglycol fluorene derivatives containing nitro and amide functional groups at the end of the side chain of oligofluorene for the purpose of making 3D-supramolecular self-assembled aggregates having reversible photo, redox and temperature-responsive properties. The newly synthesized molecules were characterized and confirmed with 1H and 13C-NMR, FT-IR. In addition photophysical properties were measured with UV and PL spectrometer. The LUMO and HOMO energy levels were observed from electrochemical method and also cis-trans isomerization and a half-life of the cis-isomer were analyzed using laser spectroscopy. The formation of duplex and dissociation was efficiently regulated on photo-irradiation without being disturbed by the thermal isomerization. Finally we can be make reversible 3dimentional self assembled structure. |
