제목 | Fabrication and Characterization of Graule type Photocatalysts using Dropping Method |
초록 | TiO2 nanofiber was coated on the porous spherical Al2O3 granule type substrates.The porous spherical Al2O3 scaffold were fabricated by dipping of a slurry containing PCL as a pore forming agent and then driving burning out the PCL by burning out process. TiO2 coated porous spherical Al2O3 granule type photocatalysts membrane had suitable pore size, surface roughness and it is easy to control the pore size depending on PCL volume percent. TiO2 nanofiber was directly coated from TiO2 slurry which contained titanium tetra isopropoxide(TTIP) as TiO2 precursor. After dipping into TiO2 forming precursor liquid, the TiO2 coated PCL/Al2O3 granule type photocatalysts were aged in NaOH solution to grow the TiO2 nanofibers from TiO2 particles. During the aging process, many TiO2 nanofibers came out through chemical exchange reaction from NaOH solution. Depending on the aging time, the morphology of TiO2 nanofibers were dramatically changed. Formation of TiO2 nanofibers depending on the aging time and volume fraction of TiO2 coated PCL/Al2O3 granule type photocatalysts were carried out using XRD, SEM, Raman spectrometer techniques. Photocatalytic assay was investicated using methyl orange(MO). |
