In the field of 5G mobile communication, which is one of the new technologies, it is essential to develop a material having a low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss in a high frequency band. Porous polyimide aerogels are manufactured through a sol-gel method using polyimide, one of the representative low dielectric materials. Poly(amic acid), a precursor, was prepared using diamine and dianhydride, and the final product was made through chemical imidization. In order to prevent volume shrinkage, an inorganic crosslinking agent was added in the synthesis process as a crosslinking agent to prevent volume shrinkage and to form a solid network structure. The resulting airgel is measured for thermal and mechanical properties using TGA and UTM, and morphology using SEM, and finally, dielectric constant and dielectric loss in the high frequency band. |
