Bio-functional Surface Coating on Non-spherical Gold Nanoparticle for Biosensing Application |
초록 |
Gold nanoparticles reveal enhanced transmission surface plasmon resonance (SPR) spectroscopy[4]. SPR absorbance results in a visible color of the metal nanoparticle. SPR reflectivity differs upon the event of the molecule adsorption onto the metal surface. Using SPR phenomena, gold nanoparticle-hybrid system may have a great potential to detect biomolecules. We have synthesized gold nanoparticle-polyelectrolyte hybrid films using layer-by-layer process. Non-spherical gold nanoparticles which have functionalized with carboxyl groups were used to assemble with polyelectrolytes having the opposite charges. We explored various polyelectrolyte concentration and pH of dipping solutions to find the optimal condition for conformal coating. We also studied to detect bio-molecule using SPR measurement. |
