Development of high performance flexible transparent electrode with single walled nanotubes/silver nanowire hybrid materials |

In this study, we have developed the advanced flexible transparent electrode to substitute the ITO(Indium tin oxide) substrate. Because it has high electrical conductivity, silver nanowires have been investigated as electrode materials. However, there is a disadvantage of having a high haze value. In order to overcome this defect, single walled nanotubes which has high durability and transmittance was selected to make hybrid materials. SWCNTs/AgNW hybrid materials were coated on PET(polyethylene terephthalate) film by bar coating method. Using the method, the SWCNTs and AgNW films were fabricated each to compare with SWCNTs/AgNW hybrid films. As a results, the coated SWCNTs/AgNW films had a 89% transmittance and under 114Ω/sq sheet resistance. Specially, when it was compared to only AgNW coated films, the haze average value was dramatically decreased from 1.94 to 1.14. |
