제목 Spherical silica-organic hybrid materials built with only silica containing vinyl and amin groups
초록 We have been investigating fabrication of small mateials with organized structures. Among materials we are interested in preparing are those containing organic functional groups that are useful for further chemical modification. In this study, we investigated different aminopropyltrialkoxysilanes (APTAS) as silica network forming materials and catalysts to induce sol-gel reaction of different other organoalkoxysilanes, titania precursors, and alumina precursors. Contrary to early reports, we realized that structures could be fabricated using only APTAS easly by interface-selective polymerization. Also, we prepared hollow spheres and filled spheres that were built with silica fully substituted with vinyl and 3-aminopropylsiloxanes. Products were characterized in different methods and reaction of vinyl and 3-aminopropylsiloxanes were carried out. One of the most interesting results was transparent composites were obtained when mixtures of MMA and these spheres were polymerized.
