In this study, O/W type emulsions containing titanium dioxide were prepared by varying oil ingredients and dispersion methods of different titanium dioxides in order to enhance coverage of O/W emulsion. We observed that the coverage was enhanced by oil, which has high refractive index or high viscosity, and oil dispersion of alkylsilane coated titanium dioxide. Based on the result, the optimized formulation was established. This study is expected to be contributed to coverage improvement of O/W type make-up cosmetics. |
