제목 Voltage Tunable, Multicolor, Flexible Electrochromic Devices on Plastic
초록 Electrochromic materials indicating reversible color change upon application of electrical stimuli are widely employed to electronic applications including displays. In this work, asymmetric (or symmetric) viologens were dissolved in ion-gels consisting of P(VDF-co-HFP) and [EMI][TFSI], which were applied to EC devices (ECDs). All ion gel-based ECDs showed characteristics of low-voltage operation and low-power consumption to maintain colored states. By utilizing different EC behaviors of two viologens and rubbery character of the gel, we successfully demonstrated voltage-tunable, multicolor, flexible ECDs on plastic.
