Design and assembly of hierarchical polymer nanostructures for memory and energy-storage applications |
초록 |
This talk will deal with the different approaches for the formation of hierarchical polymer nanostructures. First, unusual and spontaneous positioning between host and guest BCP microdomains will be reported. Our self-consistent field theory (SCFT) simulation results theoretically support that the precise registration of a spherical BCP microdomain (guest, B-b-C) at the center of a perforated lamellar BCP nanostructure (host, A-b-B) can energetically stabilize the blended morphology. As an exemplary application of the hybrid nanotemplate, a nanoring-type Ge2Sb2Te5 (GST) phase-change memory device with an extremely low switching current is demonstrated. Second, this talk will also report the use of magnesiothermic reduction for the efficient conversion of silica tubes and particles to nanostructured Si with dual-scale morphologies. The Si nanostructures were obtained with a very high conversion yield and demonstrate the lithium ion storage capacity of ~ 1000 mAh/g over 100 cycles. |
