제목 Facile synthesis of microporous carbons with oxidized starch for CO2 capture
초록 In this work, we have prepared microporous carbons using starch with physical activation for CO2 capture. Starch was activated by oxidant containing steam molecules. Specific surface areas and micropore volumes were analyzed using N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms at 77 K. CO2 adsorption capacities at different activation temperatures were investigated using CO2 adsorption-desorption isotherms at 298 K. A significant proportion of the porosity in the carbons is contributed by micropores. From the results, the physical activation using oxidant containing steam molecules is effective in developing the micropores on the surface without chemical activation.
