제목 Mechanical Properties of a Sustainable and BiodegradableNanocomposite Based on Cellulose Nanofiber​
초록 A sustainable and biodegradable nanocomposite (SBN) based on poly(butylene adipate terephthalate) (PBAT), cellulose nanofiber (CNF), and functional heterocyclic surfactant (FHS) is prepared and its mechanical properties are investigated in this study. FHS is synthesized by condensation reaction between isosorbide and isophorone diisocyanate and utilized to exfoliate highly aggregated CNFs. SBN is prepared in two steps:(1) CNF/FHS complex is synthesized via solution blending and (2) PBAT and CNF/FHS complex is prepared using melting blending. SBN has superior mechanical characteristics than pure PBAT, which is attributed to the unique interaction between FHS-induced dispersed CNFs and the PBAT matrix. FT-IR spectroscopy analysis is also used to propose a mechanism for the enhanced mechanical properties.
