제목 Synthesis and Properties of UV-Cured Pressure Sensitive Adhesive.
초록 We synthesized acrylic hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive(HMPSA). HMPSA can be formulated with no solvent, and hence they are non-toxic, non-flammable and do not pollute the air. Acrylates are widely used in PSA and adhesive due to their supreior adhesion perpormance. However, control of polymerization heat and rate are of prime importance in bulk polymerization of acrylate. So prepolymer and UV-crosslinking methods were used to control high heat of reaction. UV-crsslinking is a rapidly expanding technology on PSA area resulting from its main advantages of non-solvent process and economical energy used.
In this study, HMPSAs have been synthesized from PU prepolymer and acrylate. Acrylates which were incorporated included ethyl acrylate(EA) and butyl acrylate(BA). And then acrylic-polyurethane hybrid were prepared by IPN. Adhesive properties were characterized by ball tack, T-peel, creep. Tg was masured by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).
