제목 Synthesis and Properties of Polyurethane Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesive
초록 Hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives(HMPSA) can be formulated with no solvent, and hence they are non-toxic, nonflammable and do not pollute the air. However control of polymerization heat and rate is of prime importance in bulk polymerization of acrylates. So polyurethane(PU) prepolymer method is used to control high heat of reaction.
In this study, HMPSAs have been synthesized from PU prepolymer and acrylate. PU prepolymer was prepared from TDI and polypropyleneglycol(PPG). Acrylate which were incorporated included from methylacrylate(MA), ethylacrylate(EA), butylacrylate(BA), 2-ethylhexylacrylate(EHA). And then acrylic-polyurethane hybrid were prepared by IPN. Adhesive properties were characterized by ball-tack, T-peel, Creep. Tg was measured by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).
