The solvent casting and spray coating approaches were used to prepare MXene and graphene-based composites with the properties like thin, flexible and low-density. The various properties have been characterized by using Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray. The thermal degradation of the composite impedes up to 400 ℃ and displayed excellent electric conductivity of 13.68 S cm-1 with 3.1 Ω/sq of sheet resistance. The water-repellent composite exhibited a contact angle of 126 º with wetting energy of -43 mN/m spreading Coefficient of -116 mN/m and lowest work of adhesion of 30 mN/m. The composites prevent passing of 99.999% of electromagnetic radiation in 8-12 GHz frequency range. In which absorption blocked 99.99% of incident radiation while the reflection contributes about 90%. The 35,369.82 dBcm2g-1 of absolute shielding effectiveness exhibited by single coated graphene-carbon fabric. |
