제목 Evaluation of Affinity between Acrylic Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive and Hyaluronic Acid for Medical Patch
초록 Acrylic Pressure-sensitive adhesives (acrylic PSAs) are made from higher alkyl esters of acrylate without need of tackifiers and provide excellent physical properties. Acrylic PSAs with a low glass transition temperature are used as pressure sensitive adhesives in various application fields, such as electronics, automobiles, office automation, packing and medical application such as medical patch. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is an anionic, non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan distributed widely throughout connective, epithelial, and neural tissues. In order to apply the adhesive to the medical patches, it is necessary to evaluate the affinity of the adhesive and the drug. In this study, we conducted an evaluated the affinity of acrylic PSAs and HA for application to medical patches. Affinity was determined by adhesion between acrylic PSAs and HA. The adhesion strength between acrylic PSAs and HA was characterized by Universal Testing Machine (UTM).
