Comparison of metal-supported extracellular matrices for cardiovascular applications |
초록 |
Cardiovascular metallic implants have been widely treated for patients with narrowed blood vessels. However, these cause vascular injury and erosion of endothelium due to their poorly adhesive surfaces, such as inflammation and thrombosis. To overcome these disadvantages, we employed a sequential coating of polydopamine (pDA) and fibronectin (FN) to a metal surface (CoCr). The modified surfaces strongly anchored with extracellular matrices (ECMs) through decellularization were characterized by SEM, FTIR and immunostaining. We compared various cells derived ECMs using genetic and proteomic analyses to investigate cell-dependent effects on cells. It is believed that the versatile sequential coating with pDA and FN will be a new approach for coating of ECMs and the metal-supported ECMs will be a good model for implantable metallic implants. |
