Bridged polysilsesquioxanes (BPSs) are materials with silicon-oxide networks and functional organic bridged groups. BPS nanoparticle, synthesized by stober method through sol-gel process, have high-capacity absorbents for biomedical applications. But, general BPSs nanoparticles have low-biodegradable properties. In this work, we synthesized urethane groups-included BPSs in order to enhance biodegradable properties. In addition, characteristics such as biocompatibility and thermal stability are also improved by coating Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid). Resulting PLGA-coated BPS nanoparticles were characterized by a various analytical tools(NMR, FT-IR, TGA, SEM, and TEM). |
