Preparation and characteristics of methacrylate-tethered nanocarbons for application to adhesives |
초록 |
Because the efficient interaction between the polymer matrix and nanoparticles strongly influenced on the properties of the resulting adhesives, the as-received nanocarbon was functionalized to create the surface methacrylate groups, which could be crosslinked with matrix polymers in adhesives. It was well known that the methoxy silane groups reacted with the hydroxyl functionalities by the hydrolysis reaction and the most characteristic surface groups of nanocarbons, included carboxyl, hydroxyl, keto groups, etc. Adhesives reinforced with methacrylate-tethered nanocarbons or as-received non-functionalized nanocarbon were prepared, and their physical properties were examined. |
