Flow-Injection Chemiluminescence Determination of Sparfloxacin Using Potassium Permanganate–Sodium Sulfite System |

A rapid and sensitive chemiluminescence method has been described for the determination of sparfloxacin by combining the flow injection technique which is based on its sensitizing effect on the weak chemiluminescence reaction between sodium sulfite and acidic potassium permanganate. the linear range of the method was 1.6×10−8 to 2.9×10−6 mol/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.9988 and a detection limit of 0.7×10−8 mol/L (3σ). The relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) for 11 repetitive determinations of 1.0×10−6 mol/L sparfloxacin is 0.9%. |
