We demonstrate a facile and effective strategy to fabricate porous polymer semiconductor films through a polymer semiconductor/insulating polymer blend and in turn selective removal of the phase-separated insulating polymer regimes. A surfactant that lowers the interfacial tension between two polymer components was introduced into the blend to tune the size of insulating polymer regimes (i.e., pores in the resultant films). In comparison to the pristine films, the sensing ability of the porous films was evaluated by exposing to volatile organic compounds. Further, the effect of pore size on the sensing behavior of the resultant films was systematically investigated. |
