Synthesis of Novel Plastic Elastomers Composed of Poly(butylenes terephthalate) and Poly(propylene oxide)-Poly(tetramethylene oxide)-Poly(propylene oxide) |
| 초록 |
The novel thermoplastic elastomer copoly(ether ester)s composed of poly(butylenes terephthalate) (PBT) hard blocks and poly(propylene oxide)-poly(tetramethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide) (PPO-PTMO-PPO) soft blocks were successfully synthesized. By alternating the molecular weight of the polyols of poly(propylene glycol)-poly(tetramethylene oxide)-poly(propylene glycol) (PPG-PTMO-PPG), a series of copolyesters with different soft segments could be obtained. The sequential structure of the copolyesters was analyzed by the proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR). The crystallization and melting behaviors, as well as the mechanical properties of the copolyesters were also investigated. |
