Design of new functional polyols by the ring-opening polymerization of propylene oxide catalyzed by double metal cyanide catalysts |
초록 |
Polymerization of propylene oxide (PO) has been carried out by double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst prepared by reacting ZnCl2 and K3[Co(CN)6]2 in the presence of butyl lactate as a main complexing agent (CA) and as a co-complexing agent Poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) (Co-CA). These resulting DMC catalysts exhibited excellent catalytic activity towards the ring-opening polymerization of PO. The yielded polymers are analyzed by 1H NMR spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography and viscometry. The -OH value and unsaturation level of the polymers were also determined |
