제목 Design of new functional polyols by the ring-opening polymerization of propylene oxide catalyzed by double metal cyanide catalysts
초록 Polymerization of propylene oxide (PO) has been carried out by double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst prepared by reacting ZnCl2 and K3[Co(CN)6]2 in the presence of butyl lactate as a main complexing agent (CA) and as a co-complexing agent Poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(propylene glycol)-block-poly(ethylene glycol) (Co-CA). These resulting DMC catalysts exhibited excellent catalytic activity towards the ring-opening polymerization of PO. The yielded polymers are analyzed by 1H NMR spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography and viscometry. The -OH value and unsaturation level of the polymers were also determined
