Phase change material (PCM) composites for latent heat thermal energy storage were made by mixing three different kinds of PCMs (erythritol, stearic acid, and paraffin) loaded with expanded graphite (EG). The surface and structure properties of the PCM composites were determined by using scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD), respectively. The thermal properties of the PCM composites loaded with EG were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and thermal conductivity (TC). |
