제목 Preparation of PVDF Hollow fiber Membranes  from Polymer/Diluent/Solvent system
초록 Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) hollow fiber membranes were prepared from ternary system of polymer, diluent and solvent. Microporous structures were obtained via thermally induced phase separation(TIPS) and nonsolvent-induced phase separation(NIPS) processes. Dibutylphthalate(DBP) and 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) were used as a diluent and solvent, respectively. Mixture of NMP and water was used as an coagulant as well as the bore fluid. PVDF hollow fiber membranes were successfully prepared by using melt spinning apparatus and their performances were evaluated. Effects of relative composition of diluent to solvent in dope solution on the structure formation of the membranes were examined in terms of the phase separation mechanism. Composition of coagulant and bore fluid of also affected the location of phase boundary and affected the surface morphology of the membranes.
