The NH4OH aqueous solution was added to the ethanol solution containing SiO2, TiO2, and SnCl2 to form a core-shell structure. The SnO2-TiO2 hollow spheres were prepared by leaching SiO2 from SiO2 core/SnO2-TiO2 shell spheres. The properties of SnO2-TiO2 hollow nanosphere as anode material of lithium ion battery were investigated by cycling voltammetry, galvanostatic charging/discharging curves, and impedance spectroscopy. The coating effects of nanosize TiO2 on SnO2 hollow nanosphere to improve cycling performance and reversible capacity as anode materials will be discussed. |
