Black liquor generated in the kraft process is most lignin and a part of hemicellulose. This is produced electric and heat energy through combustion by recovery boiler. In order to enhance energy yield, hemicellulose is extracted through pre-treatment from black liquor. Hemicellulose is converted into monosaccharide, then monosaccharide is produced bioethanol trough fermentation process. By-products act as inhibit factor during bio-ethanol fermentation. Therefore, in order to increase yield of bio-ethanol production, liquid-liquid extraction performance prior to fermentation process. The extraction solvent used in this research is TOPO and TAPO, pre-treatment is experiment at pH 0.5 temperature 121℃ time 1hr, used TOPO and TAPO is distillated respectively temperature 210, 300℃. |
