제목 Effects of fluorinated hyperbranched siloxane on performance properties of UV-curable urethane acrylate
초록 Hyperbranched polymers have been paid attentions as an effective additive for the performance enhancement of different type of thermosets due to their low viscosity and the existence of various reactive and functional groups at the chain ends. In the present study, hyperbranched polysiloxane endcapped with fluorine moiety as well as UV curable functional groups (F-HBPSi) was systhesized by a controlled hydrolysis of proper silanes and was used as an additive for UV-curable urethane acrylate. Results revealed that addition of small amount of the F-HBPSi led to improved thermal stability and signficant increase in surface hydrophobicity without sacrificing optical transparency of the neat UV cured cured urethane acrylate.​
