Low band gap polymers based on 2-arylbenzimidazole and 4,7-di-thiophen-2-yl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo [1,2,5]thiadiazole for polymer solar cells |
초록 |
Recently, to improve performance of polymer solar cells (PSCs), many π-conjugated polymers with low band gap have been developed. One of the strategies to make low band gap polymer is the synthesis of copolymer from electron-rich and electron-deficient units. In this presentation, a newly designed 2-aryl benzimidazole derivative which plays a role of electron acceptor unit has been prepared and utilized for the synthesis of low band gap polymer. 2-arylbenzimidazole derivative has been incorporated into 4,7-di-thiophen-2-yl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-benzo [1,2,5]thiadiazole and 9,9-dialkylflourence based copolymer. We will report the synthesis, characterization and photovoltaic properties of low band gap copolymers. |
