Fabrication of resistive switching device with polyaniline nanoparticles |

A resistive switching device with polyaniline (PANI) nanoparticles (NPs) randomly embedded in dielectric polymeric layer was introduced in this study. A corning glass coated by aluminum(Al) was fabricated with aqueous solution containing PANI NPs in 3% polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) by spin-coating. Current-voltage measurement on Al/PANI NPs+PVA/Al device showed memristive switching behavior by charge transport mechanism. Charge trapping and detrapping effects on conductive PANI NPs could be the origin of charge transport mechanism. The formation and purification of PANI NPs were characterized by UV-VIS and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) spectroscopy. This study can be extended to a fabrication of fully organic memristive switching device. |
