Development of New Sky-Blue Emitters Based on 1,6-Diisopropylpyrene Moiety |

SN-IPPy and ON-IPPy were synthesized by Buchwald-Hartwig amination and Suzuki aryl-aryl coupling. The UV-Visible absorption spectra of SN-IPPy and ON-IPPy showed UV-Visible absorption maximum wavelength of 437 and 431 nm in solution states. The photoluminescence (PL) spectra of SN-IPPy and ON-IPPy showed PL maximum wavelengths of 475 and 474 nm in solution states. Doped OLED devices were fabricated using the synthesized compounds as dopant. SN-IPPy exhibited current efficiency of 12.1 cd/A and external quauntum efficiency of 8.92%, respectively. Also, ON-IPPy exhibited current efficiency of 10.1cd/A and external quauntum efficiency of 7.51%, respectively. |
