제목 Properties of EPDM/chemically modified bottom ash /talc composites
초록 EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer) is presently used for cables, automobiles part and electrical wire insulation. Talc is used in rubber industry to reinforce mechanical properties. Bottom ash generated in thermoelectric power plant is hardly recycled. Bottom ash may replace inorganic fillers that used in electrical wire insulation consisting of EPDM/talc composites. In this study, Properties of EPDM/physically or chemically modified bottom ash/talc composites were tested. Crusher was used for physical modification of bottom ash and surfactant was used for chemical modification. Component of bottom ash was confirmed by scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX) and particle size was measured by particle size analysis (PSA).
