제목 Improvement of thermal and abrasion resistance performance of polyphenylene sulfide composite through 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane treatment of carbon fiber and graphene oxide fillers​
초록 The aim of this study was the improvement of thethermal conductivity and tribological properties of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)with carbon fiber and graphene oxide fillers. Whereas carbon fibers reduce themechanical strength of PPS, 3-mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane (MPTMS)-treatedcarbon fibers improve the interfacial adhesion properties of fillers and PPSmatrices, which increase the mechanical properties of PPS/CF/GO composites. Theimproved thermal and mechanical properties of fillers and composites wereconfirmed via diffraction scanning calorimetry (DSC), universal testing machine(UTM), dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) and wear test. The silane-modifiedPPS/20-M-CF/5-M-GO composite has a thermal conductivity of 0.323 W/m•K, whichis 175% greater than that of the neat PPS composite. The friction coefficienthas decreased from 0.236 to 0.176 (compared to that of the neat PPS composite),and the specific wear rate has decreased from 1200 to 300 E-07 mm3/N•m.​
