제목 Highly ordered carbon nanotube-polymer composite fiber by electrospun immiscible polymer blend system
초록 Mutiwalled carbon nanotubes are incorporated into electrospun nanofibers which consist of PS/PMMA polymer blends during the electrospinning process. It was observed that multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT) are lineally oriented along the fiber axis in which internally co-continuous phase morphology of the PMMA is formed in the PS matrix. The highly ordered MWNTs structures in the fiber were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The internal morphology of polymer blends was determined by selective etching one of two components using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Surface compositions of nanofibers were confirmed by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Further, the tensile stress-strain curves of carbon nanotube incorporated polystyrene nanofibers were evaluated and compared. This research was supported by a grant(M105KO010001-05K1501-00110) from 'Center for Nanostructured Materials Technology' under '21st Century Frontier R&D Programs' of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and National Research Laborotory program, Korea
