Polymer solar cells (PSCs) are attractive method for photovoltaic applications because of their solution processibility, light weight, and mechanical flexibility. Inverted PSCs (i-PSCs) by employing metal oxide as buffer layer and high work fuction metal electrode have been proposed to improve long-term stability. But one of the main disadvatages of i-PSCs is charge carrier trap center that be occurred by surface defect of buffer layer such as oxygen dangling bond. Besides, different surface energy between buffer layer and active layer has a bad influence on interfacial contact. In this study, we fabricated i-PSCs with or without surface treatment onto buffer layer via solution process. Trap center and surface energy difference between buffer layer and active layer were reduced. As a result, the photovoltaic performance of i-PSCs with surface modification was enhanced. |
