In this study, we investigated morphological transitions of Block copolymer (BCP) such as the order-to-order transition (OOT) and the order-to-disorder transition (ODT) for asymmetric block copolymers by SAXS & GISAXS. In case of BCP melt, it shows the OOT from a lamella phase (LAM) to the gyroid phase (GYR) with increasing temperature. Between the LAM and GYR, poorly ordered Fddd structure, known as a non-cubic network structure, is also found in a narrow temperature range followed by the perforated layered structure (PL) due to preferential interaction between major component in block copolymer and PS grafted substrate. In addition, the phase transition of thin film shows higher OOT and ODT than BCP melt. These results may be correlated dominantly to the interfacial energy between PS block of BCP and PS brushes on a substrate. |
