초록 |
Today energy needs is becoming a problem in the interest of significant climate change and concern of environment. Among several energy sources, hydrogen is one of the most promising source which can convert directly chemical energy to electrical energy with high efficiency and zero pollution. Fuel cells using hydrogen as a fuel, especially, polymer electrolyte fuel cells(PEFCs) are appealing alternative power device in order to transportation application due to low cell operation temperature, low noise, high power density and longtime operation with single fuel injection. The core component of PEFCs is the membrane-electrode-assembly (MEA), which consists of ionic conducting polymer electrolyte membrane sandwiched between anode and cathode catalyst layer. In this presentation, development trend of ionic conducting polymer electrolyte membranes and its various applications will be discussed. |
