Thermal Durabilityof Neon Transformer with Silica Particle Size |

Epoxy resin is beingused asneon transformer housing andadding thinner, diluent for increasing properties.Diluent isused for decreasing cost, increasing properties, but experiments needed thermal durability data of amount addition of epoxy resin. In this study, diluent selected silica that determined optimal silica size and amount of mixed silica ratio. silica sizes were divided 8/10mesh, 14/18mesh and 28/35mesh. Process of epoxy resin (DGEBA type YD-128) used poly amide hardener as and added 50wt% SiO2, 50wt% silica, reactive diluents or nonreactive diluents with curing process at 70℃, 70min. Thermal durability assessment measured short-circuit test of neon-transformer at various temperature. |
