제목 | Synthesis of Copper Sulphide Nanowire using Self-assembled Supramolecules |
초록 | One dimensional (1-D) materials have been of interest because of their unique electrical, optical, magnetical, and mechanical properties. These materials have potential applications in areas such as nanodevices. Up to now various methods, have been reported to synthesize 1-D structures , such as electrochemistry, template, emulsion or polymetric systems, laser-assisted catalytic growth, solution, vapor transport, arc discharge and organometallic and coordination chemistry methods. And significant progress of nanowire growth has been made, with respect to improved uniformity, fine monodispersion, and high yield of products. However among these methods many go through the very high temperature processes such as vapor-liquid-solid method, vapor solid reaction. Here, we report the synthesis of well aligned array of copper sulphide that use 'soft template' with self-assembly of supramolecules to synthesize 1-D copper sulphide. The processes are combinations of solution and vapor method in mild conditions. The supramolecules used are synthesized in our laboratory. They have thermotropic property and form hexagonal structures via thermal process. The samples are characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and x-ray scattering. We step forward synthesizing well aligned arrays of nanowires. This strategy is expected to extend to the growth of other metals and semicondutors by means of solution and vapor route. And we hope these nanowires can be used in nanometer scale science and technology before long. |
