Nitrogen-doped graphene(NGS) is most attractive choice for energy storage systems(ESS). Among many fields of ESS, Lithium-sulfur battery is suitable to apply NGS due to excellent adsorptivity of nitrogen atoms in carbon matrix. Nitrogen atoms in carbon matrix were preventing dissolution of polysulfide and enhance cycle performance of cells. Because of low cost and convenience, urea is generally preferred as nitrogen source. In this study, we carried out three ratios of urea to graphene oxide to determine optimum ratio. The morphology of the composite was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transition electron microscopy (TEM). Electrochemical properties were also characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) in 1M LiTFSI electrolyte. The 300 wt % of urea to grahene oxide shows most outstanding electrochemical performance. |
