Separation of light olefin and paraffin gas is one of the most crucial issuses in petrochemical industry due to its profitable potential, but facing technical predicament from similar physicochemical properties of two components. Membrane technology is considered as a good alternative for current cryogenic separation, however, it is suffered from durability problem. Here, we have synthesized mixed matrix membrane using polyimide and ZIF-8/graphene oxide 2-D nanocomposite for high molecular-sieving performance and long-term stability. |
