Can be Hair-Keratin a Potent Biomaterial? |
| 초록 |
Recently, keratin extracted from human hair has emerged as a fascinating biomaterial exhibits excellent biocompatibility, no immune reaction upon transplantation, and biodegradability. However, biological function and cellular interaction of hair-derived keratin protein has not been well elucidated, and for the well use of human hair keratin-based biomaterials for translational biomedical applications better understanding of the molecular properties and biological function of keratin should be required.
