Design of nanorod type polypyrrol for electrode of electrochemical supercapacitor |

The nanorod type polypyrrol (PPy) (3 ㎛ in length and 320 nm in diameter) for a supercapacitor electrode was successfully fabricated by electrochemical polymerization using an AAO template. Au was evaporated onto one side of the AAO template. Then Au was electrodeposited into the AAO template and pyrrole was electrochemically polymerized. Finally the AAO template was removed using an alkalisolution. The capacitance properties of the PPy/Au nanorod-electrode were investigated by a cyclic voltammetry (CV) and galvanostatic charge/discharge test. |
