제목 Highly ordered supramolecular column in micro-channels via template-assisted self-assembly
초록 Self-assembly of soft materials has been studied for a long time due to its profound impact on nanopattern fabrication. Supramolecular dendrimers provide the rapid construction of nano-structure and small feature size(sub 10nm). Despite these advantages, it still has a long way for realizing its application due to the lack of long-range order and orientation. In this research, we synthesize the previously reported perfluorinated suprmolecular thermotropic liquid crystal. We investigate the alignment and ordering of this synthetic supramolecular column in micro-channel with various geometry, surface anchoring, and external field. The orientation and ordering of cylindrical supramolecule is studied by using POM, AFM, GISAXD, and TEM. We secure a long range-order of cylindrical supramolecule in microchannels. We anticipate this research will be an efficient way to form a highly ordered structure of the suprmamolecule and realize its practical applications.
