제목 Vanadium Oxide as highly reversible Zn2+/H+ co-intercalation cathode for Aqueous Zn-ion Batteries
초록 Aqueous Zn-ion batteries (ZIBs) have been received extensive interests as a promising energy storage system due to the its high safety , environmentally friendliness, and low-cost. Vanadium-based metal cluster with high capacity, good rate capability, and unique redox reaction has potential as a cathode material in ZIBs. Herein, We demonstrate highly stable Zn/VO2-based cathode system, where carbon fiber with the uniformly distributed of VO2 are used as the cathode. Their architectures provide enhanced electrochemical kinetics with Zn2+/H+ co-insertion mechanism. The capacity of V-based cathode delivered ~490.9 mAh g-1 at 0.2 A g-1, and long-term cycle stability showed over 20,000 cycles at 1.0 A g-1 in the coin cell system. This study is expected to exhibits a noticeable progress of the V-based electrode in achieving superior electrochemical abilities and its potential for advanced aqueous ZIBs.
