Application as wound healing products of photo-reactive macromolecules O-carboxymethyl chitosan |

Immobilized biologically active substances such as epithelial growth factor (EGF) are being used as wound healing products. In this study, we tried to confirm EGF as a possibilities of application which immobilized by photo. Furfuryl glycidyl ether was introduced in high molecular weight O-carboxymethyl chitosan and photo immobilized biomaterial was synthesized. The synthesized novel biomaterial was confirmed possibilities of application as wound healing products through structure analysis, drug release and cytotoxicity test. |
