In this study, tried to make the poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) hydrogel nanoparticles, which can avoid toxicological problems and can produce particles into various size. To prevent side effect on the loaded drug due to emulsifier , poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) hydrogel nanoparticles have been prepared by using a water-in-oil emulsion technology plus cyclic freezing-thawing process to see if it worth using no emulsifier. In consideration of PVA property and particle size, PVA (Pn=1700)has been applied which is considered to be an appropriate degree of polymerization and 15000 rpm homogernizer speed has been used, based on the experiment so far been made, to have a test of morphology, size, swelling degree, protein release and protein stability. As a result, PVA was found to be usable as an biocompatible hydrogel by using this method to obtain the effect of avoiding toxicological problems if the procedural improvement is taken place in the preparation of PVA particle. |
