Using carbazole chromophore as a key side position, three new emitters of blue light, 2-DCPA, 3-DCPA and 4-DCPA were synthesized. The three synthesized materials were synthesized by substituting the carbazole node and lobe position as a side group in the anthracene core. These link positions(node and lobe) in the carbazole moiety were determined by the density functional theory calculation. In film state, the PLmax of these three compounds are emitted in the blue region at 453, 457, and 452 nm, respectively. Among the three materials synthesized, 3-DCPA which was substituted by lobe showed the highest efficiency at 2.91 cd/A and EQE 2.65 %. In the doped device using CBP as a host material and 3-DCPA as a dopant, ELmax realized a deep blue emission of 433 nm and a CIE value (0.150, 0.068). |
