제목 | Robust tannic acid based boronic ester vitrimerreinforced with cellulose nanofiber |
초록 | Thermosets are difficult to recycle due to permanentcovalent cross-linking. The recyclable nature of vitrimer materials provided bydynamic cross-linking points in a positive way for addressing the issue ofdifficult-to-recycle traditional thermosets. Here, we fabricated bio-baseddynamically cross-linked vitrimer composites using tannic acid, glycerol, andboric acid cross-linkers, with the addition of cellulose nanofibers used toimprove the mechanical properties of the composites. Furthermore, stressrelaxation demonstrates the dynamic reversible capabilities of the borate esterbonds, and this vitrimer material exhibits good reprocessable, recyclable propertiesat high temperatures. This work provides a simple method for manufacturingbio-based vitrimer composites that can replace conventional thermosetmaterials. |
