제목 Effects of clay and modified clay on properties of epoxy composites
초록 Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion, High Tg and adhesive strength are needed for chip-stacking adhesive for M-NEMS. Property enhancements by addition of clay in epoxies is expected in PET.
DGEBA-based epoxy composites filled with various amounts of nano clay were analyzed by DSC, TGA, UTM. Clay was used with or without modification of surface for better compatibility between clay and epoxy matrix. For the modification clay was treated by ionic liquid (1-Hexadecyl-2.3-methylimidazolium etrafluoroborate). The effects modified and unmodified clay were investigated in detail.
