제목 | Preparation of a novel Ni encapsulation Catalyst and Application to Hydrodechlorination of Chlorobenzene |
초록 | Catalytic hydrodechlorination of chlorinated hydrocarbons is a promising technology for the treatment of these pollutants and hazards a possibility to recover useful products. Highly dispersed nickel catalysts supported on mesoporous silicas, SBA-15 and SBA-16 were synthesized by nickel encapsulation with poly (ethylene oxide), (PEO). The prepared catalyst was characterized using XRD, TEM, N2 sorption, and SAXS. Pore structure of the support was maintained throughout the preparation procedures. XRD and temperature programmed reduction techniques results showed unique size and high dispersion of nickel particles on the mesopore. ICP-AES analysis resulted in the metal content of Ni encapsulation SBA-15 (PEO-Ni-O-SBA-15) as of 8.5wt% nickel after calcination. This Ni content was larger for PEO-Ni-O-SBA-15 than for non-encapsulation one. Hydrodechlorination of chlorobenzene was selected as a model system to test the catalytic activity and compared with conventionally prepared catalysts. |
